PROTECT YOURSELF FROM A SCAM
Everyone dreams of winning an exciting prize like “Pie with Paul.” Sadly, scammers have been known to take advantage of this. They may manipulate people by falsely claiming they have won and asking them to send payment in order to claim a prize.
A little vigilance and knowledge can help keep you safe. To protect yourself, always keep these two points in mind:
You will never be asked to send money to claim a Waterton Tourism prize. Period. If you are being asked to send a cheque, money order, or payment of any kind to claim your lottery prize, it is a scam. Hang up the phone or delete the email.
Check with @WatertonTourism directly to verify if you are a winner. You are always welcome to check the official Waterton Tourism Instagram page or contact us to confirm if you have won this prize.
