About
Northland Lodge originally named Carthew Lodge was handcrafted for Louis Hill of the Great Northern Railway in 1928, being added to his emipire of Hotels and Lodges in Waterton Glacier National Park. The Hacking family purchased the building in 1949 establishing the Northland Lodge. This family owned business has been owned and operated over the 72 years by four generations of women, offering warm hospitality to guests and love for this historic arts and crafts building.
