This short but challenging hike rewards hikers with a beautiful view down the Waterton Valley. Starting at the Goat Haunt Ranger station, this trail switchbacks steeply through lower montane forests. Your perseverance is rewarded when you enter the subalpine, and push onwards to the lookout point. Goat Haunt ridge towering above you, is an excellent place to scan for Mountain Goats. The Overlook provides excellent views of Upper Waterton Lake and the Janet Snowfields.
